Review on 🔁 Mityvac MVA6832 Auto-Refill Kit with Clamp-On Feature by Adam Hardy

Yesterday I bled the brakes and clutch on my 2003 VW Jetta using this kit. I used Ate (German) low viscosity DOT4 fluid from a 1 liter can and none of the supplied bottle adapters fit so I used the supplied bottle which worked fine. The supplied base, which is attached to the main cylinder, also did not fit because the main cylinder bore was too small for it. However, the bottle pressed easily against the surrounding engine parts, and the spring clip height adjuster was just enough for the small MC hole. So while I had two issues right away, they didn't seem to affect the use or performance of the kit. Once installed, the system worked flawlessly. I was able to focus on the bleeding without worrying about the MC fluid level going too low. This is very important for my car because if air gets into the ABS control unit, it will be very difficult to bleed it, it requires expensive diagnostic software / VCDS interface and also a lot of time. So for me this set was extremely helpful and worked great for me. Now all I need is a remote controlled electric brake presser and bleeding the brakes will be a one man job. I took MityVac's suggestions through their website: 1. Sell a European clamp accessory kit that fits the smaller European master cylinder bores. If I remember correctly there is a standard hole that most/all European cars use. Also include brake fluid bottle adapters that fit European bottles like Ate and Pentosin.2. Add a 6" corner extension for cars where the MC is hidden and difficult to reach such as B. my other Volkswagen, the New Beetle.
