When I bought my phone it was the only case on the market with a protective screen on the front of the phone, complete Full phone coverage in one protective case. In this case the screen works fine for me and I also left the foil on the phone from the manufacturer. So it actually has 2 levels of protection. I don't use a fingerprint reader so I don't know if that makes a difference. Haven't noticed any overheating issues. The rear footrest fits me. One day I walked upright into my tiled kitchen; He jumped a little and was perfectly fine. I would suggest using a snap-on case to protect the screen cover from scratches if that ever happens. I got a scratch on my security screen on the first day because he found the keys in my purse. Too bad, but at least it wasn't a real screen.
