I bought this to replace my new leased gateway router from Verizon. I think I had this router before "upgrading" to a newer router. New router failed, Verizon sent me another router, it failed, sent another router, failed again. They sent technicians twice and redid everything, but the problem was faulty routers. Because of the coaxial connection, you'll need a Verizon router if you're using their TV service. So far, and only for a few days, the router and my internet are stable. The concern is that the signal will drop at close range, but the connection will remain. Turns out I've canceled my TV service so I don't need a Verizon router, but I'm leaving it on for now. Live TV (YouTubeTV) works fine. Would recommend if you need Verizon TV, otherwise they might be a better choice.
