I walk on the pavement. I also have narrow legs. These were the best running shoes I've found. . . looks like if i find a good model, asics will list it and the search continues, so i bought a second pair. They offer great stability, are lightweight and don't feel overly puffy or overly built like some shoes. Arch support is enough but not too much. I don't really care about looks - I replaced the pink laces with black - but when I find great shoes, I don't pick the color.
