Spindle presser foot pressure

Revain's first review, just wanted to let you know. Gave 3 stars, the quality is great but the low profile bothers it and causes leg pain. I used blue to match my frame. The hex on the end of the spindle is handy for installation (compared to the old wrench on the side of the pedal). I originally bought these for my 29er hardtail after the stock bottom brackets failed. I have done several rides on the Zwift and have always felt the pressure point on the foot where the spindle was located as that is the highest point the foot hits. Has given me pain in my feet and eventually tingling in my toes. These pedals definitely have a low profile and higher spindle area than the rest of the pedal. The pegs are taller, but once they're pushed into your shoes, it doesn't matter. I transferred them to my 20" BMX bike thinking the pressure wouldn't make much of a difference in this application but after a while I still had the same pain. I don't have any clutch problems. They may work very well on a downhill bike where you won't be pedaling for a long period of time, or maybe just on a stiffer/harder sole where the pins can't dig into your shoe but if you're constantly in the Pedaling, I wouldn't recommend it to you.
