I've been at this for over 15 years since we bought Reynolds aluminum foil. It has made my life 10,000 times easier because I can cook fish, chicken, etc. in the oven without having to clean pots all night. I have no idea why people bother using ovens at this point. Whether it's a roast or a simple weekday salmon dinner, I know Reynolds will keep the flavor and save me the trouble of cleaning up the messy bits that are stuck to the pan. However, something always bothered me. Reynolds claims to have given you 130 feet of aluminum foil, but does an objective third party ever measure the veracity of that claim? Who holds Big Foil accountable to its customer base? We will allow myself to be a fair and balanced referee. . .First I weighed the roll on a laboratory balance. According to all the descriptions online, the package weighs 1.5 kilos, but according to my scale it was closer to 1.4 kilos - not a good start. I continued my experiment by unrolling the roll and measuring it the old fashioned way. After three rounds of measuring and checking that the roll was completely flat, I was pleasantly surprised to find that Reynolds not only does what it says on the tin, it actually exceeds the length by 3/8 of an inch! Now I can recommend this product and use it with confidence.
