Wouldn't trust it for oil filters

Used on a 2016 CBR300R. When changing the oil I noticed that part of the seal is missing. See image. This means that while it was there it didn't seal, allowing oil to flow around the filter instead of through it. Worse, the prize could end up in my engine. I'm sticking with Honda and K&N.
