These are good winter pants. I bought these for my son who is very picky about clothes and is growing up fast. I am writing this review after a full year of skiing, sledding, snow hiking and snow adventures. He climbed in it, fell, skied with black diamonds and used them diligently. Pros: * Excellent water resistance * Reinforcement on knees and ankles makes a big difference in durability. I find their durability to be very good. * I like the orange color because it's easier to find on the slopes. Cons: * The orange color picks up stains fairly easily, and I won't work on washing it for fear or ruining the waterproofing. * There is no zipper at the ankle for easy putting on the ski boots. It's common with kids' winter pants, but my son is growing up quite a bit and I think it's worth mentioning because this year when his legs first started growing, he's barely been able to put them on from the outside. Nice pants and I would recommend. Four stars for coloring and knuckles.
