I ordered this scale because I need to measure in grams. I liked the size of the scale and the fact that it is measured to the nearest tenth of a gram. Batteries are not included. When it arrived today I had a freshly charged set of rechargeable AAA batteries. Out of the box everything looked fine so I put the batteries in and turned on the scale display. Changing units of measurement was easy, as was taring the scale. When I started measuring, I encountered problems. I measured three molds of different sizes to verify the accuracy of this scale. However, I've never been able to get accurate measurements on any of them. The displayed weight of each pan was constantly changing and was never fixed to weight. Switching on/off, taring, changing units of measurement and even changing the battery did not solve the problem. I was never able to get accurate readings from this scale as the weight displayed never stopped fluctuating. I'm more than a little disappointed that this scale isn't doing the job. I can't be sure if this is a scale design or if I just received a defective unit, but having experienced an unexpected delay in shipping just to get my hands on it, I have no intentions against it exchange another. I am returning it for a refund and will be looking for other scales for my small measurement needs.
