I am a digital artist and a longtime Wacom user. I bought the Surface Pro 3 as a portable drawing studio, but I've always disliked drawing on it due to the lack of texture on the glass. It's like trying to use a pencil on a blackboard. On the advice of a friend, I bought and installed this matte screen protector to see if it helps. Because this screen protector is matte, it adds an extra "tooth" to the Surface screen. It more closely resembles the matte texture of a Wacom tablet. With a more jagged canvas, I'm more comfortable painting, sketching, shading, etc. My pressure variability has also greatly improved, to the point where I've had to readjust my paint program settings to accommodate the change in tension in my hand. And I no longer worry about scratching the glass if I press too hard. It also seems that the sensitivity doesn't decrease when I use my finger. And of course being able to see what I'm painting under the bright Starb*cks ceiling lights is a huge plus. You also get three protectors. in a package less than ten dollars. That's a good deal. Buy it. You have to feel it to believe it.
