Depending on the body shape, the crotch cut leaves little to the imagination.
I'm 5'5" and 115 lbs. The little ones fitted my waist and hips perfectly, but were oddly loose and too small/skinny in the crotch - I felt like that when I was mine Legs would also be spread a lot (like you do 100% in swimming), the whole pelvis would be a bit visible if you get my meaning, relative to the hips.
