I bought this to use in 64 ounce jars. Recently my husband asked me to buy new sugar/flour canisters and we could only agree on jars but our hands were too big to fit in to use our old spoon so I bought this one. Flour and sugar, I can only fill them half full to allow the spoon to be tilted just enough to close the lid - not too much as we already bought 2lb sacks of sugar to fit in the old jerrycans, and this about 1/2 inch . these great stone benches. It also helps maneuver the scoop to balance the ingredients. I'm stuck on my way and I'm not a fan of this change, but it fits the need. The spoon is sturdy and would be attractive as a serving spoon.
