Review on πŸ”Š Immersive Audio Experience: LG SN11R Black Sound Bar by Seo Jun Seog ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A good quality product, I rate this purchase perfectly.

Of the available soundbars with Dolby Atmos support, this is one of the best solutions at the time of publication of the review (October 2022). This was also the main reason for the purchase, and there are no disappointments in this part. Works in a pair of LG CX 65", connected via HDMI in eARC mode. After a good 5.1 set with a receiver, the quality is a bit disappointing when listening to regular music, especially via Bluetooth. Subjectively, there are not enough mids, but given the acoustics from Meridian, the sound is very decent, for a solid four. A lot can be forgiven for surround sound in such a compact form factor. Building a complete system based on a receiver and floor/ceiling Dolby Atmos speakers is much more expensive. With a small discount and in the presence of a TV from LG - ideal. I also advise you to take into account that the principle of operation of the soundbar is based on reflection from walls and ceilings, so the best results are obtained when installing a spacious room without bulky furniture and thick curtains.

Pros
  • - Dolby Atmos! In a room of 20m2, the sound in the presence of a track in the appropriate format is simply a delight. Netflix, Apple TV, Xbox games all sound amazing. - HDMI 2.1 - Wireless rear speakers and subwoofer
Cons
  • - To set up the soundbar, you need to register the device in Google Home (!) and only then you can continue the configuration through it through the native application. Seriously LG? - Through Bluetooth, the music sounds "dry", there is not enough expressiveness in the middle frequencies. - Periodically podglyuchivaet and the sound disappears until the reboot. - Distortion at high volume. - Very long - 146 cm. Either screw on the wall (fixings included) or a wide stand. - Expensive
