I've done at least 40 tries with this thing and couldn't make a single button. Yes I made sure I only had a piece of mylar, plain paper (not a photo or anything thick) and everything was aligned correctly, but the fronts didn't touch the backs no matter what I did. It didn't matter to use more or less force. I even tried adding a second pin to the crystal to increase the height, which allowed the front and back to connect (somewhat), but even those buttons were warped and unusable. Also, beware of a cheap paper cutter. The blade fell out when I was unpacking and I was lucky enough to find it on the floor before anyone stepped on it. I'm sending this piece of junk back and saving it so I can buy something better. Lesson learned.
