Bought for an elderly person with poor eyesight. My purchase criterion was a remote control with large buttons that only controls one device and a numeric keypad. It was surprisingly easy to set up a conversation with the Sharp TV, although I had to use a magnifying glass myself to read the instructions (which are stuffed onto a thin 8x10 sheet of paper and don't match the instructions pictured on the Revain ). .) The setup took a maximum of two minutes. Luckily, the version of the remote I had had a learning feature, so I was able to disable the "AV input" button and did (I did the same thing as the back button) and did TV into a weird state (invalid input). I don't remember seeing anything about the learning feature before I bought the remote so that was a long bonus. Here are some improvements I would suggest: 1) Use an enhanced guide text and English proofreader. 2) Even better, provide a link to a PDF of instructions that actually matches the model of remote I received. 3) We put a small bump on the "5" key (for the visually impaired). 4) Make the color "SET" k They are different from the color of the "ON/OFF" button. A red button in each corner of the remote control is a bad choice for people with poor eyesight. Overall I am very happy with my purchase.
