This is for a black "thin leather" money clip. The packaging was an 8.5" x 11.5" Manila envelope for a 2" x 3" item. Shrink wrapped and protection good. After opening the shrink wrap, I wanted to open the clip and found I couldn't. My first thought was that the magnets are really strong. Pulled again and heard (and felt) some kind of gap. Looking at the inside of the clamp where the magnets connect them could break the "skin". I can't tell if there was a drop of glue or if the product got hot and melted. This "thin leather" magnetic money clip is NOT leather. This is a faux leather material. With the top layer removed you can clearly see that it is a layer of faux leather and then several layers of fabric. After scraping the skin off the magnets and testing, the magnets did not stick to 4 cards. Without the clip I assumed it would replace a wallet and some cards and some bills could be placed between the magnets and held securely. But with a driver's license, a debit card, another card, and a dollar bill, the magnets barely held together. After the $3 bills they didn't last at all. I didn't check how many dollar bills would fit in it alone.
