Okay, I'll be honest - when I opened this case I was afraid that the protection wouldn't be enough. There was no shield, and it was mostly molded foam rubber. FOUNTAIN! I couldn't be more wrong. My son loves his Kindle. He is 17 years old and has moderate to severe spectrum autism. You want to go to the limit? he is your friend First, the Kindle fits the case snugly - that suction cup hasn't come out ONE TIME since I bought it a case almost 3 months ago. There's no problem accessing the headphone jack or power buttons through cutouts. He LOVES the handle - it's very comfortable, well placed and big enough that it's easy to hold and grab. It's cute and adorable, VERY easy to wash and I'm planning on getting them for the rest of the family too.
