For some reason the manufacturer decided to use only military time to tell the time. This is my son's first watch and as difficult as telling the time is for a child, it is made worse by the fact that it only shows military time. There is no way to change the 24 hour format to 12 hour format. This has been the default clock setting since the advent of the digital clock LOOOOONG time ago. That's disappointing as all of the watch's other features are actually quite nice considering it's an entry-level watch.
