Little Beetle was happy about the yellow tutu for dance class. Fits as expected. I suspect a lot of people complaining about the skirt are not used to tying the skirt for ballet class - wrap it around your natural waist, it will overlap a bit and have an extra band. Tie it comfortably with a double knot if you're worried about falling (I've never felt the need). It will be in a nice spot on top of the thighs. I've been doing ballet for over 25 years and almost all ballet wrap skirts require some practice and the occasional repetition - not a problem unique to this product.
