I have a compact hydromassage dryer that wobbled or wouldn't turn. I noticed that if I shake it a little to help it, the engine starts. These are classic signs of a bad capacitor. The washing machine was made in Italy (I didn't know Whirlpool had factories in Italy) and the condenser is no longer sold in the US. It was an 8uF Ducati capacitor. There were several sites on the web that offered one at a higher price. This capacitor was about the same value and was listed as a run or start capacitor, so I took a chance. My dryer starts, spins like new at a bargain price. I hope this helps someone. An image of the original is displayed.
