We are the home office of Netgear. We switched from the Netgear FS108 Network Bridge to the RO318 Security Router and have been happy ever since. We chose this router to free our main office computer from acting as an internet server on our network. With this device our high speed DSL connection goes straight to the router which in turn acts as a great little network server for our 7 wired workstations plus 3 more in the wireless subsystem. Once we had everything set up, we didn't have to worry about anything else. We used the web browser's setup feature, which was very easy to use and only took a few minutes. You need to know and be prepared for various DSL settings like a static IP address etc. The firewall is efficient and can be configured to send an email alert when an attack is detected. An additional feature I like is the built-in web filter based on keywords or addresses ([ .] .). You can easily set it up to send you a report of attempts to access inappropriate websites. This is a great little device that comes packed with lots of useful features for a small office or home network.
