Quality control can be an issue
Mine came a little in the wrong direction, when connected to the controller it was not flush and was tilted to the side. Worked fine initially but after a few weeks it started interfering with my mic so I had to stop using it. The mute button and volume control worked as advertised, but two other issues rendered the product unusable, so I just threw it in the trash.
