We bought this for our 1 year old daughter for Christmas 2013. And it's still my favorite toy! Back then it was easy enough for her to play, but hard enough to grow with her! The "twist" handle is pretty tricky because it has to be twisted quite hard for the bug to pop out so I had to help her, she would get really upset about that. it was pretty cute! Now she can do it herself and is happy when she does! This is such a simple, cute toy. Requires no batteries. Makes cute, not loud and annoying noises. It's light enough to be carried around. Oh, and she loves beating bugs back and it didn't hurt her at all! Just a very simple toy of great quality at a great price!
