No needle storage, but does it's job well
It works really well. My only complaint is that there is no place to store the needle/s when not in use. We coached soccer this summer and I'm worried the needle may bend being kept in our bag.

- Wasn't expecting much but was pleasantly surprised by the size, quality and ease of use.
Cons
- The needle may not fit all sports equipment, requiring the purchase of additional needles
