Although they are cute, the pictures of these socks are very deceiving. They are not close as shown in the photos. I bought these for my teenage granddaughter and they didn't even come down to mid-calf. She loved them but I was very surprised that they were so short. Just note that they do NOT come down to the knees as shown in the photos unless you are buying them for a 7 or 8 year old.
