I really like the material on these shorts - very soft, doesn't constrict and the color of the dye is fantastic. Personally, it fits perfectly everywhere *except* at the very top of the belt - the seam and elastic drawstring at the waist, the top part of the belt is SO uncomfortably tight. It's like they were sized for a completely different pair of shorts than the rest of the waist/hip measurements (and according to the sizing chart I was between small to medium and even down to medium).
