I installed this connector on my boat. I did not use the front panel as shown in the picture. Instead I just used round parts and it works very well. The hole size required for installation is an unknown foreign inverse metric size. So be prepared to get a file or dremel that will fit the hole. I gave this 4 stars because the blue LED is always on and I see no reason for it. This can eventually drain the battery for an extended period of time. Because if it does, I'll put the plug on the switch. That being said, I'm still glad I invested in this plug to keep my tablet and phone charged on the boat.
