Review on 🔌 ACDelco 748GG Spark Plug Wire Set - Genuine GM Original Equipment by Kevin Compton

As the title says, DOUBLE CHECK THE COILS BEFORE ORDERING! 748GG Cable THIS IS A SHORT SET which I believe is used for Delphi round coils. It's NOT LONG ENOUGH to get to the square/rectangular coils which I believe are Melco packages. And YES, I did my research before ordering. I didn't have access to the truck to look at the coils so I contacted my GM dealer with the VIN number for my 2005 Silverado 5.3L and they told me the 748GG wire would fit my truck. The VIN search pattern is accurate, right?, WRONG!. I am the first owner of my truck and it has original spools. I have square coils and had to order 748HH by length. So I had to reorder the 748HH, which are about 2cm longer and are good enough. What I really don't understand is why AC/Delco makes even 748GG on GROUND when 748HH can reach any configuration without being too long for Delphi coils since 748HH is only 2cm longer. Overall these appear to be good quality cables so I can't beat them but just trust your eyes when testing coils to decide if you need a 748GG or 748HH. As previously mentioned, even looking up a dealer VIN cannot determine exactly which one you need. As always, I love Revain's free Prime shipping and thankfully easy returns.
