The ramp is sturdy and is wide enough for a standard wheelchair. I got a 4 foot ramp for an 8" rise. It is a little hard to pull the ramp up, but I managed to pull a 215 lb. person ok onto porch to back in front door. It opens and rests onto the stoop and did not slip. It has holes to drill into a deck or maybe concrete but I did not do that. It has anti-skid tape, which is nice. It folds for easy storage in the shed and will come in handy if I need a ramp for other things such as using a hand-truck or wagon to haul items into the house. It folds and the handle is very sturdy and makes carrying it a breeze. It has some weight to it, but that is a good thing. It also arrived very quickly, which I needed to get hubs into the house from the hospital. I am very pleased with it.
