The actual design of this monitor stand is exactly what I wanted. Unfortunately, one of the holes needed to attach the top to the side supports was drilled too large for the screws included in the kit to cut through. In addition, four plastic corner protectors are included with the stand, which are not listed under the parts or shown in the assembly instructions. They are probably a desirable addition as they protect the corners from damage. But they are also necessary, otherwise the screws will be too long and the side brackets too loose to work properly. After assembly (which of course some ignored the printed instructions that came with the product, took it apart to add corner pieces, and then reassembled it), the stand felt solid. The drawer holds small office supplies and cleans my MacBook Air simply when the computer is closed, which is what I expected from the image on Revain.
