Large and easy to use. I made dumplings, they turned out great. Simply use the open circle to punch out the dough, then place the circle of dough on top, add the filling and fold! I've found that it works best if you stretch the circle of dough a bit to make sure the edges match, and my recipe suggested moistening the edges slightly to seal them better. Also, you don't need as many toppings as you think. I put it in the dishwasher (top shelf) when I was done and it came out clean and undamaged. For the price it was worth it. I don't want to imagine how messy it would look if I just tried it with my hands.
