Review on Dorman 917-251 VVT Sprocket for Honda Models: Enhancing Engine Variable Valve Timing Performance by Russ Conrad

This part was an exact replacement for my 2009 Honda Accord. After watching a few YouTube videos on replacing a gear, I got down to business. It only took me about five hours in total. This immediately solved the problem of cold starts, when the valves knocked very loudly in the first few seconds of engine operation. I am very satisfied with the quality of the item. I had no problems installing the transmission. Doorman's products are generally of a higher quality than some of the cheaper Chinese knockoffs. Highly recommended.
