Will charge battery for Dell™ Inspiron™ 1545
I bought this laptop charger for my Dell™ Inspiron™ 1545. This adapter *NOT* charges the battery. the power supply is connected. This usually means my laptop battery is dead. However, the day before I tried this laptop charger, I used my old charger and the computer stayed on for hours after the charger was unplugged. I wanted to replace my old charger because the old charger was making a very loud, high pitched sound.
