Review on Teamoy Washable Makeup Remover Pads: Reusable Toner Cotton Pads - Pack of 12 with Laundry Bag by Janelle Nelson

I love the idea of using these makeup remover pads and have been using them consistently for a few weeks. I've washed them in the washing machine a few times and although I've tried my best to follow the directions, there's still some makeup residue (mainly from mascara and eyeliner) on my pads. They definitely don't look the same as they did the first time. Another complaint I have about these pads is that they absorb too much product. I ended up using my liquid makeup remover much quicker than using cotton balls simply because these pads use a lot of product to remove just a small amount of makeup. To be honest, it's more cost effective for me to buy a giant pack of $2 cotton balls every few months because they actually save the amount of makeup remover I use every night. The fact that I use makeup remover just as quickly as these pads makes things more expensive in the end. Overall I wouldn't buy these pads if you're looking for something to save you money or make things easier. The pouches that come with the pods are very cute and it's really cute to see the pods hanging on a clothesline but apart from the aesthetic part I wasn't thrilled with this product. Washing and hanging pads is an extra step, they use too much makeup remover and are difficult to clean properly. Just stick with the old method and use cotton balls!
