This product is a great solution to improving poor quality climate control knobs in GM 07-13 trucks. I've read other reviews about a broken button showing through a sticker at night, so it's not as easy as it sounds. Cover the area you are working on with masking tape to prevent further damage.2. Sand or scrape paint off damaged buttons.3. Clean with alcohol and let dry.4. Color the green button with black marker. (Otherwise, the green color will show around the edge) 5. Let the marker dry and clean it again with alcohol.6. Paste the sticker. While the light doesn't shine through well at night, at least the damage won't be visible if the paint is properly scraped off. GM should be ashamed for using such cheap quality parts on these trucks.
