I spent anywhere from one to two hours in the shop and evaluated twenty different live-listening versions of forty various headphone models before settling on them. As a consequence of this, I decided to go with the Sony MDR-1Am2. The justifications for our selection are listed below. I was seeking for a pair of headphones that could successfully block out ambient noise while traveling on airplanes and trains while still being comfortable enough to use for an extended period of time without needing to be removed. Because of the size of my skull, most headphones are uncomfortable for me to wear. As a result, the most important factor was the ergonomics, and after testing, it was determined that the MDR-1Am2 offered the best level of comfort. I would suggest checking out this model if you plan on wearing headphones for a consecutive number of hours at a time. If you exclude models that have active noise cancellation from consideration, you will find that they are also among the most effective in terms of noise isolation. In terms of dry noise isolation, the flagship Sony WH-1000XM3 performs far better than the other models. Unfortunately, the WH-1000XM3 headphones place a significant amount of pressure on the head, and it will be challenging to wear them continuously for three to four hours. In addition, the price of the flagship begins at 25,000. (if you take it new). MDR-1Am2 headphones feature a microphone that is attached to a wire and are connected to a smartphone. The interlocutor has a very good experience in terms of audibility of speech. It should be brought to your attention that I am not an audiophile, and the sole reason I took them with me was so that I could listen to music on my smartphone. Naturally, they have a very good sound, and I find that they are a significant improvement over the "plugs" that I had previously purchased for 1000. But the clarity of sound, the beauty of compositions when playing Mp3 from a smartphone cannot be compared with lossless audio format, especially if you have a high-quality player. When you have a reliable source, the headphones let in all of the sound, and you can finally start to appreciate the music. There is not any additional bass, but rather the emphasis is placed on the higher frequencies. The fact that they cannot be folded up into a small space is the most major disadvantage. This is an important consideration for vacations as well as work trips.
