Review on ๐Ÿงฎ Montessori Peg Number Board - Wooden Learning & Education Toy for Preschool Toddlers (3-5 Years Old) by Evan Hernandez

quality check. - Toys for babies and toddlers

I've had this for about two weeks and my baby loves it! I appreciate the educational concept of this product. However, the quality could be better. The wooden box with the pins/boards broke, the staples came out and everything fell out easily. Fixed with superglue at the moment. After working with the product with my little one, I found that she has a hard time getting the pens out of the box - they are separated by a narrow rectangular compartment that her hand can barely fit in to pick up the pens - they are almost slick/slippery too. The pegs are also torn around the edges and we both pricked each other a bit. Also, you have to store the pins in a certain way so that the lid closes properly. The little one who usually tidies up behind her cannot close the box on her own because the pegs are not level. I actually chose this product over the other because of the storage box option, but I'm not sure if that should have been my deciding factor. Just some observations.

Pros
  • Sorting and stacking toy
Cons
  • Replacement availability
