I purchased this item after seeing this beautiful and distinctive storage option for my vinyl collection.The seller packaged my items well (I ordered 2 boxes) and shipped fairly quickly.The items received were fine however one box had to be replaced due to a subtle tear in part of the emblem box Replacement item without Delay and this unit has not been damaged as other reviewers have stated that you are only paying for the Crosley emblem which is the only true differentiator of this box in addition to the many colors available despite the description saying it would last 70 Don't put more than 50-59 on a crate to avoid the possibility of it coming loose or just breaking in. The crate is quite easy e.g assembly, but use caution as the wood is usually pre-treated. Wood and spindle are attached simply by tightening screws in pre-drilled holes. The manufacturer recommends a Phillips head screw; However, if you want to get it done right away, you can use a low voltage progressive drill. While the boxes are beautiful, I'm not sure I can justify the cost of this item combined with my reluctance to pack 50+ records into one box at a time. If you are just starting out with your record collection and have a small collection, I would recommend these boxes simply for the "cool factor" versus the overall functionality; For vinyl enthusiasts with a larger collection, you may also want to get a pair for the 'cool factor', but don't expect an expanded set of features for your larger collection.
