I received two shirts, size 9/10. In terms of sizing, they are consistent with other clothing at this intended target age. I have a 10 year old daughter and an 8 year old son. I gave each of them one. The shirt I gave my daughter fit her perfectly. Her sleeves were a little too long, but she usually struggles with that on almost every long sleeve shirt she wears, so I wouldn't say it's something to worry about if your kids are more average. The shirt was of course too big for my son, since he is only 8 years old. It gives him room to grow and I think that's totally fine. These shirts are unisex and can be worn by either gender. However, in my personal opinion, the V-neck looks a bit feminine and might bother some guys if they are picky about these things. My son doesn't care. These shirts are good quality, well made and should last a long time. The material of the shirt is pleasantly thick and not thin at all.
