This is a fantastic carrier! I needed a slightly bigger carrier than the one we'd been using since she was a baby (which also collapsed in on her. oops) because we were moving across the country.This carrier is sturdy. It holds its shape, even when she is standing or laying on top of it. (She is 11lb.) It has a fuzzy pad inside which she must think is cozy because I just leave it out for her and she loves to sleep in it!It also held up with her getting very fussy at times as we drove 4 days and 2,500 miles across the country when we moved recently. I love that there are little clips on the zippers so even escape artists like mine can't get out (and believe me, she has done some pretty fancy maneuvering in the past to get out of carriers!)It opens from either the top or the side, which is also convenient.This carrier is proof that you don't have to spend a lot of money to get a great product!
