I've recently started using a grocery delivery service (Hello Fresh) and found myself chopping a lot of veggies, onions and shallots. I found that my old OXO mandolin was too basic and not very strong and decided to replace it. I just tried my new one and I love it. I like the ability to change the crop size multiple sizes with a turn of the knob. I didn't know it had a straw cutter but it seems very handy. I love that the mandolin is sturdy and secure with a food holder that snaps into place. I like that the extra blades come in a plastic box. The only thing that worries me is that it's quite bulky and I don't know where to store it in my kitchen.
