My husband is always stacking socks over socks, over socks to keep his feet warm. He starts with a small and tight black sock. Then comes a long black sock. And then last is the big wool sock. Apparently slippers never crossed his mind, even though I have given them to him as gifts.I bought these socks for him to replace his big nasty wool socks that are wearing thin and getting holey. Well. He cant wear them over other socks. They are very tight just to get over his feet. And mine! lol. He let me wear a pair. Anyway, they are wear-alone socks, which is fine, just not what we thought, so he is still wearing those stupid holey wool socks.He has decided to wear these socks as boot socks, like for motorcycle riding. They are very warm, comfortable, and stay up all day. These do not slouch, which is good. I liked the pair he let me wear. :)
