I've been using it for about a month and I feel I've learned enough to give a useful review. First, it's plastic, not glass, so that's a plus for me. I had absolutely no issues with the lid being difficult to remove or put back on. Cleans very easily. I wash the floor (garbage disposal) and add some dish soap and hot water. Insert the plunger and shake it a few times to make it hard. Then remove the residue with a cloth or brush, rinse and dry. ready to go again Second, other reviewers suggest using more bases than you think necessary. I agree. 1 cup of coarsely ground coffee (I use decaffeinated coffee) makes a good strong drink. Not too strong but great coffee taste. I leave mine on the counter to steep/brew. I didn't get the best coffee flavor when I put it straight into the fridge. I stir it while it brews and the foam rises and it smells so good. I leave it on all day or overnight. Then I put on the plunger cap, squeeze the coffee and put it in the fridge. I didn't have a sentence in my last coffee and that's a plus too. I can only recommend this coffee machine/coffee maker. EDITED TO ADD: I don't make coffee concentrate, I make cold brew coffee that I pour over ice with almond milk and toriani syrup. 1 cup of ground coffee makes delicious, ready-to-drink cold coffee.
