When I first received this item I was thrilled. This is exactly what I need to attach my iPad to the fridge. However, the downside is that they ship the device with the adhesive pre-applied…. Which doesn't make sense considering some might want to install it like a magnet without sticking. I also bought a bubble in my device by removing the adhesive. To be honest if I was going to glue it somewhere with glue I would use command strips instead of the nightmarish foam I had to rip through to remove it. It took about an hour but the job was done. The reason for the removal is the adhesive, my iPad slipped over the fridge with it. It won't support its weight because the adhesive BLOCKS THE MAGNET! So I had to go through the painful process of removal. First a bad experience for something I was happy about. Please consider this before purchasing, however it would be advisable for the seller to discuss this matter with the manufacturer.
