Much cooler than expected for the price!

My son has wanted a gaming monitor for a higher refresh rate in his games for years. Obviously we were excited to try it and I gotta tell you. I am impressed. I usually stick with well-known brands when it comes to my computer monitors, and for the retail price I wasn't expecting much. But picture quality is quite pleasing, the resolution at 2560 x 1440 is noticeably better than the old 1920 x 1080 resolution, and the 144Hz refresh rate isn't bad either (a screaming jump from the 60Hz that maxed out on their old one ). , which is actually intended.) BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE! He connected using the included DisplayPort cable and found a new audio device on his desktop. I said yes because both DP and HDMI can carry audio, so there's a 3.5mm jack on the back for connecting speakers. My LG computer monitors do this too, but they can't play any sound. There's only one speaker/headphone jack on the back, and that makes it easier to get the plug closer than it is to my desk. But when I tried it, lo and behold, the sound came out of the monitor like a TV! Holy cow, that could be a media center for a firestick or whatever because it has audio built in! My son usually uses headphones to play games and didn't like the look of the speakers on his desk so he never got a chance to play something out loud for the other person to hear first. This is a VERY cool option! 2) There is an RGB strip on the back of the monitor, so it looks cool from behind! (See attached photo).3) On the wall behind the monitor is a quirky little projector circle showing an image of a tiger's head (I think it's the company logo). See the attached photo of the wall for an illustration. My son really liked this projector and actually tried to find the logo on the internet to make it his desktop wallpaper but unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any markings on the monitor that we could find to locate it. Logo, that's a shame. Otherwise what a great product! More than I expected, so far we are very satisfied!
