I purchased two Self Pro balaclavas prior to winter sailing in the Pacific Northwest. I tried two different versions, two different but equally cold days. It was a really comfortable balaclava. I read a few reviews mentioning Self Pro positively so I decided to give it a try and I'm glad I did. Overall, the whole thing is very comfortable and comfortable to wear. It doesn't have a lot of excess material that clumps together and conforms well to the shape of the head. This balaclava has an integrated structure that is not fabric but is still comfortable for the face and still gives the balaclava a firm structure. .During my use on the boat it kept my face warm all day but the front did get some condensation from my breathing which is the only reason I give it four stars. The other version I bought, without this part, didn't condense. It doesn't work that well due to its structure, wearing it and trying to pull the front under your chin, but you can wear it around your neck. Pull the bodice down at the back of your head. I am very satisfied with both purchases in Self Pro!
