Review on Epson Workforce ES 400 II Adjustment by Jeff Prabhu

It just produces a series of garbage scans. The scans are output as a screen.

I bought this item in December, it's now February and it no longer works. It just produces a series of garbage scans. The scans look like a screen full of distorted colored lines, does that make sense? Probably as consistent as my review now. He only managed to get a few scans before deciding to screw it up. Guess you get what you pay for? The parts also feel very cheap and flimsy - compared to the Fujitsu (which I had before, and although it was also plastic, it felt "heavier"). And while it quickly scanned what it could scan (faster than Fujitsu in some cases), it still couldn't handle all the things I usually scanned with my old scanner. Thick and shiny paper crumpled, receipts stuck on the long edge, etc. I think I should have just gone with Fujitsu and not trying to save money. Maybe I'll just try it next time with a self-made book scanner.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Large and bulky
