Clean rinse. The plastic nuts that hold them in place cannot be overtightened or they will loosen

I installed two of these flush where the cigarette lighter and 12v power supply used to be in my 2008's were, they're fine, but the big plastic nuts that hold them (sandwiched between dash stuff) you can't overtighten, or they'll just skip threads and loosen. I wish they were metal or narrower
