Good for dogs and cats. Maybe even children and friends?

My brother rescued an adult dog. I had heard about clicker training and decided that I would enjoy interacting with my new four-legged nephew when I visited. During my research I spoke to a friend of mine who works with animals in film. She said that while the louder "click" of metal clickers is fine for dogs and horses, the quieter sound of this clicker might be better if you choose to clicker train cats as well. No moss grows on this rolling stone. I bought them immediately, took a few books from the library with me and when I went home for the holidays I probably spent most of the time with the four-legged family members. They are just as good for dogs and scare cats less. As an update, my friend was amused at my excitement about training my family's animals. He recently joked that if he had known I would be so happy he should have responded to clicks sooner. Now it's become a joke between us.
