UPDATE: This oil change worked for me twice as stop now no suction. Save your money and avoid this product. I was looking for a pickup/lift pump to change the oil on my boat myself. I was hesitant to buy this model at first after reading reviews on this and many others, but I also didn't want to spend more than $150 on top models. I bought it and used it as instructed. Two important points for proper operation: run the engine for 10-15 minutes before changing the oil (warm oil flows much better) and make sure the suction line is inserted deep enough into the dipstick tube to see the bottom of the to reach the oil pan. . I also used it to change the oil in my lawn mower. My only downside is that I'd rather buy one that plugs into a 110 volt outlet than a battery powered 12 volt outlet.
